Some features like daily water consumption on app disappeared when my bill showed it spiked 500% without any logical reason. Good app, but hiding or losing features like daily consumption after showing a consumer a 500% spike in their bill in not a good idea.

This app is not equipped to handle anything that is not considered a normal request. Raising complaints online yields no outcome unless followed up by a call to the toll number.

International cards no longer work with Apple Pay. 1 star until this is resolved.

Like the title Why does the app has to be dramatic ? It stops my music when I open the app just because the developers wants to show off the skills of animation! Instead focus on making the app stable and more easy to use ! The app started freezing and had to force quit the app to reopen again ? Why ? Why waste time in making it dramatic ?

The application not working properly for international credit card

they are thieves and took 13000 Derham of us for nothing

I have lived in many countries, however I feel Dubai is one of the best when it comes to ease of life and technology. This app make things lot easier. Thanks

The is not friendly and hard to navigate through The titles and names of services do not match the meaning, so it is very difficult to get what you need. You need dewa customer’s care representative at time to guide you through and explain to you what they mean.

Cannot find a statement on the app that my bank needs for proof of address!

I did a move in request kn 1st April 2021 and it should process and complete within 15 hours As per the system asks i paid the balance security deposit of 1000AED and since 3 months the account not get activated. Made lot of follow up calls and emails and the customer care did stop responding to my mails as they don't have any answer. Then latterly they asked me to pay again and they don't know where the paid amount gone! No answer!!! After a lot if communication and follow up they activated my account and there is double bills in a month!!! Still the issue is going on They cannot even provide the consumption report or security deposit receipt Very bad experience which is not expected from such reputed government organization and i think their IT wing is poor to manage such issues.

Not a user friendly application, doesn’t allow login for payment, shows only options .

The new update is not downloading and the app not working without the update ????

Dubai is pushing for foreigners to own properties in the land, but payments of services using foreign cards are very challenging using the app. I can’t use my home Visa card to pay for my utilities, and it’s becoming increasingly a foolish think buying and maintaining a property in the Land.

Extremely disappointed on dewa procedure on disconnection. No personal effort made to get in touch with the customer other than sending a text which no one reads.. services are cutt off without the consideration that there may be patients that needs care at home

It doesn’t accept my Kuwaiti credit card, it’s difficult system to use. Example if I put my credit card they will send me a code to my UAE number. The number doesn’t work if you are outside the country, because it’s prepaid. !

They really try to make a profit from electricity because they know we can’t go to anyone else besides them. They play around with the bills if you don’t notice by increasing it especially in the summer (when most people leave the country). They try to cover their loses by targeting certain houses and then hike up their bills we caught them when we were traveling for 2 months and only left the housekeeper in the house and we got a ridiculously expensive bill we called and they sent someone over to check for leaks but there was nothing. This happens almost every summer so be careful and keep an eye on your bills. Install solar panels if you can or get a diesel power generator that would be a lot cheaper than continuously paying them

One of the few entities in UAE that understands how to treat and respect its customers. Dewa constantly innovates and makes life easier. The integration with Apple Pay saves tons of time and makes the bill payment process a breeze. Etisalat and Du can learn a lot from DEWA!

I pay directly from my bank account to DEWA. The app does not seem to know this payment has occurred and constantly sends me emails that the account is not paid.

Very convenient and always up to date. Makes paying bills, requesting final bills, and checking status very easy. If you don't have it, I recommend getting it.
